These accessories are just as important as the soundproofing material itself. The sound putty pads are used specifically so that you can wrap your outlets so no noise can get through them. The acoustical sealant is a caulk that must be put around the boarders of your soundproofing material so that everything is sealed properly, this is also true about the Mylar Tape and MLV Tape.
For extra security to soundproof your wall, ceiling, or floor, try Green Glue as the last step of soundproofing.
